Many new network marketers will quit this industry after a short period of time, some even after 3 months or so and the biggest cause is a lack of people to talk to about their business, i.e. leads. Failure can result if you are not able to come up with an efficient solution to this problem.

In my personal opinion this can quickly become a total waste of your time and money, these lead lists are generally not very specific to any particular niche, but moreover general 'opportunity seekers'. Once you come to call up these people in the hope of bringing them into your business you will probably be very disappointed with the results. You can get clicks for pennies and there isn't much competition right now. Obviously you will be spending money in order to get leads so you are going to have to do two things....first make sure you know exactly what you are doing when it comes to setting up campaigns (it can get expensive) and secondly you must have a finely tuned well converting sales funnel to maximise your profit.

Another way to get traffic is from the search engines. By producing content such as blog posts, articles and videos you can attract a lot of traffic to your website and sales funnel. I would certainly recommend learning about video marketing as this is powerful stuff and will increase your conversions. My most powerful online sales tools are videos! Second to that are written articles and posts, write a good article and it can bring you traffic for many months and years to come.

Lead generation online is definitely the smart option. I've proved that in my business time and time again, in fact whilst I was writing this article I generated 2 leads on auto pilot!
